The GradFund Conference: What is Happening and Why You Want to Attend!

Join us on April 1st for the GradFund Conference!  A biennial event, the GradFund conference offers Rutgers graduate students workshops, panels and individual guidance on how to apply for merit-based funding effectively.

The workshops scheduled for this year focus on proposal writing 101, how to apply to the NSF and NIH and how to apply for funding effectively as a graduate student.

Our graduate student panels include a session with an emphasis on applying for funding to support international research and a second panel on applying for funding at different stages of graduate study.

GradFund Fellowship Advisors will be available throughout the day for brief individual appointments to learn about your fellowship and grant options, how to apply for a Fulbright and how to participate in a GradFund Mentoring Program.  The full schedule for the day can be viewed here.  Graduate students are welcome to join us for all or part of the day.  Pre-registration is requested but not required and the registration form is available here.

The conference is a great opportunity to learn about fellowships, grants and proposal writing while networking with fellow graduate students and the GradFund fellowship advising team.  We hope you will join us on April 1st in the Busch Campus Center!
